    Description


    This is a Hoffman / Vent SITES Operator Adapter Kit (A-21 series) designed for use in universal cutout disconnect enclosures. The adapter allows mounting and interlock of various brands of disconnect switches or circuit breakers (e.g. Siemens ITE Max-Flex, Allen-Bradley 1494, GE, Cutler-Hammer, Square D) into a standard universal enclosure opening. It includes the adapter plate and necessary hardware to interface the operator handle mechanism with the enclosure door.


    What It Does


    The adapter kit bridges the mechanical and mounting differences between the enclosure cutout (universal flange style) and the specific disconnect operator (switch or breaker). It ensures that the handle / operator is correctly positioned and that the door interlock works properly (so the door and the disconnect handle are synchronized).
